I have recently purchased a 94 Mitsubishi Pajero. It has a misfire on startup, runs on 5 for the first 5-10mins of driving. I think it cuts onto 6 after a while however it still runs rough. Ive replace the Sparks/Leads/Dizzy/DizzyCap/Airfilter. Its booked in today for a compression check incase it turns out ive been ripped of and the engines f*kd. My local mechanic is pretty useless and has no idea what the the problem is. Can ANYONE help me please, i cant dump anymore money into this thing. If the compression check comes back ok then it must be an injector possibly! Or what else could it be!

check injector plugs, bad on them for going brittle.
