A good friend of mine is looking at buying a 2008 Holden Viva.My personal opinion is don't buy it, it's an orphan and another friend had one as a company car and hated everything about it. However, some of you may know better than I, so please let me know your opinions or reviews. Thanks in advance.

cheap and nasty Korean vehicle. Front strut tops wear out within the first few years, and often the front shocks need replacing by their first or second WOF, of which Holden will cover that, but any time outside the warranty period and you're shit out of luck.
Spend the same money on a couple year older Corolla or something. I wouldn't even bother with any of Holden's range other than the Commodore to be honest.
