will I do any damage to the new head unit by only having front speakers or rear only connected.Current stereo is only running two, so hope it will be okay.Basically plugging it into existing wiring.

that will be fine just make sure your other two speaker wires coming from the stereo are tidy and not likely to shirt out on anything. I tend to insulate any lose wiring to reduce that problem.

Also make sure truck isn't 24v. If it is you will need a voltage reducer.

Yep its 24 volt but has reducer built in to it plus I havea seperate one for the CB and RT. Something that can be forgotten about though. Cheers.
