The front on veiw is good the rest is a bit ugly I wonder how much they will cost hereGood to see GMH doing something good for the planet

From all I have seen and read, they appear to be the first actual viable efficient electric car that has come in to production.
And it has been a very very long time in the coming.I always wondered if they would crack the technology properly.
Looks like some one has finally done it.:-)

I will definitely have a look when they come out here the economy will outweigh the body styling

How much !

3tomany, Jul 30, 7:18am
to much and that is the problem they have been out in the u.s for over a year now and sales are bad. the problem is to expensive, but i must admit it is the only car you can buy and if you dont do more than 100 ks a day you can run it on electricity alone but with a hybrid petrol as well you can use it like a prius

the add sux does not even show that the volt is a pure electric car with a petrol engine as generator when the battery bank gets low. They are out in europe and sell for 50 grand that would be 65 grand NZ$

I am waiting for the Tesla Model S to be available here. That's one nice electric car.

Sales have picked up now, beating the Leaf and Plug-in Prius.

Cost $60,000 in Aussie = NZ$78,000 all being equal.not worth it.much cheaper to make your own EV!
