handbrake. Or clown

zak1998, Aug 9, 5:51am
Also get the feeling you get when you pulling a trailer but don't have one on. The wheel is not wobbling when I jack it up

unbeatabull, Aug 9, 5:58am
Brake is dragging/jamming/sticking. Could be a seized slide, piston, backing plate on pads, something jammed in there etc.

johnf_456, Aug 9, 8:55am
Please get it looked at asap by a mechanic, it is most likely a issue with the brakes.

jmma, Aug 9, 9:12am
Yup, you should listen to what this fella is telling you, He really knows what he is talking about.

johnf_456, Aug 9, 9:18am
Well I see you haven;t provided anything other than a pick myself. The OP needs to give us more information, where you been all this time!

ml6989, Aug 9, 9:38am
jmma, please refrain from upsetting John. We are all here to help and cheap shots do not always go down well!
Anyway OP have you had a wheel off lately, possibly loose wheelnuts!

extrayda, Aug 9, 9:43am
I'll jump on the bandwagon.
1/. A clown.
2/. A flat tyre (maybe just at the bottom).
3/. Mother in law stuck in the wheel arch!
4/. Wheel bearing / brakes / handbrake.

More info.Is it noticeable at low speed! When it was jacked off the ground, did you try spinning the wheel by hand (brakes off obviously, and in neutral if RWD).I am assuming that the car is jacked up safely, and won't roll away / drop on you and crush you if the brakes are off :-)

5/. Wheel balance / alignment (shouldnt cause the wheel to become hot though).

By WHEEL is hot to touch, I am assuming you mean the metal part of the wheel, not the tyre.
