hi all. looking at updating the tow wagon and am quite interested in the Rodeo 4X4 with the new 3.0l diesel motor. Anyone got 1 or knows anything about them!

Bloody good truck. I had one as a work truck (also had a 2.8 td Rodeo for 230,000kms) and they were both awsome. Bit rattly being a direct injection engine but they have taken a lot of the Isuzu truck technology and incorporated it into the utes. Big thumbs up from me

Just stay clear of the oddball 4JX1 3ltr engine with the injectors under the rocker cover. They were not so hot

Would I be correct in thinking that from 2007 onwards the 4JJ1 motor was used. Was the 4jX1 motor used in the pre 2006 models!
