Holden parts is average mate, after 10-12 years always get the old 'aw probably got something here, best to come have a look' So you make the effort and get there and then he spends an age because he didnt bother looking previously and or doesnt have an inventory, then based on my previous experience his prices are a little on the nose. More recently hes getting out of these models anyway.

Never had that problem with keith mind you I know him through speedway and all wreckers are getting out of cars from the 70s no point holding stock if you aint going to sell ithow about holden heaven in New Plymouth but if you think keiths prices are too much dont go there either

Yeah I never had a problem in the early days, It was more when the brothers went their separate ways I felt the service really fell over and the prices started to head upwards, guess that was supply and demand starting then though, look at the prices now! Tried all standard wreckers and Holden specialists, Rare Spares apparently have a couple that 'need work' for $400. Id rather pay more and get a nicer one - but will likely be from someone on here that has one lying around.

I bought a new r/f guard many years ago, pirate jobbie, didn't fit very well. Had to 'massage' it at the front of the sill, and the waist line didn't line up with the original door. Won't do pirate parts anymore. prefer to rebuild the original parts.

I had an idiot try to park his HQ in the boot of my mini once.Didn't fit.Either that or he was trying to mate. Now a V8 mini or a 850cc HQ would be an interesting experience!
