I need help getting my Subaru to run. It is not boosting. 95 bg5 TT. Was an Auto but put Manual into it and won't start off the key. No vacum from the little box drivers side that all the hoses go to.

The last thing any mechanic wants to do is try and sort out jobs like this. It allways ends in tears.

Up by the old mill, Jerry owns the place. Can't remember the name of it. On the road to Ahipara, same side as old mill just before it. They have signs out on the road. He's a sub kinda guy.

If you can't get any joy up there, are you able to get the car down to Whangarei. I can put you on to someone there who specialises in sorting the hard jobs that no one else can fix. I can ask him first if he would take on such a job.

Well I have sorted the starting off the key and reverse lights. Is boosting to 11psi now but sort of drops off just after 4000rpm and doesn't pick up again. bit of a surge.
