My daughter has a petrol one of these, a (black one) Problem is as follows. The motor cuts out and after about 5 minuts it will start again and run,snormal. It just doe,s this now and then. Similar sympton,s tocarby freezeing, but of course this is injected. Any help appreciated, TIA

Most likely some electronic piece of junk failing when it heats up and working again when it cools down. You need to find out whether its fuel or ignition or both thats going missing, until that happens its going to be guesswork. If its happening consistently it shouldn't be hard for someone who is familiar with that model, engine and electronics to find out whats wrong, it may even be a common problem. Good luck you will need it, they were not the worlds best SUV those things.
take it to the auto sparky and get him to plug his computer in and presto problem will appear,then spend $500 getting it fixed,

Thank,s for your help guys, got it downloaded, it,s a faulty ignition switch. Next is getting it fitted then it has to be programmed to the fuel pump and the transmission, so paull, I think the $500 will be on the (very) light side.
