There's no need to run these cars on 98 octane (I believe BP is the only place that sells this!), my brother's subaru runs perfectly well on the red 95 octane petrol. However don't put green 91 in them they don't like it at all.

I'd say we were all referring to a "Super" grade of whatever octane comes in the lottery.
