every now and again try to start but no response. Give it a push start even enough to just turn the engine over it will be sweet as for maybe another 100 starts. Had a new starter and ignition loop (think thats what they called it.)put in about 18 months ago. any advise appreciated.

I'd be tempted to check all the connections at the starter motor. You will need to disconnect the battery first. Also, check the wiring between the battery negative terminal and body.

Does it have remote locking! try cycling the locks when it plays up and see if it starts. Have heard of issues with engine immobilisers on a few different late model utes

does it click when you try and start! if it dead no noise or anything id replace ign switch Ive done a few on the navara Utes
