Yes and usually yes. Just have a good look at the roof on it. If there's any, even smallest signs of rust, walk away.

Engines are good, if you can cope with that kind of power.or should I say, lack of.

Interior is a horizon of grey plastic, kind of depressing to look at.

Automatic transmissions can give problems as well.

Thanks. It's a manual. So you reckon gutless compared to other cars of the similar cc rating!

They're fine as an urban runabout or commuter, as good as anything else similar, they do feel a bit dated compared to others, more late 80's than mid 90's in feel. Generally Lancers and Mirages tend to be more mechanically long lasting than the bigger Mitsi products in my experience.

I have a sate highway drive to work. Not so good for that kind of driving then!
