What might cause oil to leak out of T .convertor into box and therefore give a high reading on dipstick! car in question is a Honda Odyessey 2000. Would this also cause a 'clunk' when going from N to D. Auto trans otherwise runs very nicely.

It will do that when you turn the engine OFF, check level in park with engine running. All Hondas clunk (o:
