Can anyone please tell me why my car starts first time everytime, except when i go to refuel it, After it has been topped up it never starts first time and the second time it will turn over for about 5-6 seconds then stop, after that it starts. bloody strange if you ask me.

Yea, silly idea on the 3.6. The electric pump is at the engine end, not the tank end. So when you take the cap off, you get that releasing air sound. That causes the petrol to come back to the tank & it has to pump the petrol through again. One of the dumbest ideas Holden come up with, but, hey.it's a Holden.
