Hacksaw a slot in it and use a bit flat blade screwdriver.

I've never seen a Lancer with a 13mm, 19mm or 24mm sump plug. Unless OP is talking about a pre 1985 model.

I can lap valves in on a 73 GTO colt , change the clutch on a 88 mirage but I gave up at 9pm on a Lancer sump plug! My mechanic can get it on a lift tomorrow for more leaver angle with some vice grips!

It did get me! I am slacked off with myself! I have a replacement plug off an old 4G52 and a New alloy washerso it will not happen again. Thanks Guys!

I would have simply used a coal chisel and beat the cr**p out of it, replaced with new plug and washer.

****FIXED IT !****** Thanks for all the ideas. Friend came over tonight with a BIG Stilson and munched it off. Got NEW 19mm Mitsi Sump plug and alloy washer! All good!
