any idea why an evo 4 would run rough at idle and miss until it hits 2000-3000rpm and then its fine. i have changed spark plugs and coils but unsure of what could be causing it.

Mine runs rough at idle , but doesn't miss at 2k , but it does have 11mm lift cams.

compression test! just been google-ing and its pointing to a vacuum leak so going to do a leak test tonight to see if i can locate anything

In that case, my mistake, but I do recall working on an EVO that did have an EGR valve, just can't remember which one.

Most people confuse the SAS with EGR, evo 7 onwards had EGR
