When I start my car sometimes, the check engine light doesnt turn off until I drive it a few km's. When I do drive it when the light is on it seems to kind of lack power etc( as in when i accelerate its slow off the mark) . but after a short drive the light goes off and the car seems to be going fine. Is this just a cold engine! or is there something else going on here!
My car is a Subaru Legacy TS-R 1999 if this helps :)

There is something wrong. You require a scan for codes in the ecu. This can be done at a Subaru dealership or most auto sparkys

I only just recently brought it. about two weeks ago from a car yard. Should I be thinking about taking it back and making them get it fixed/looked at!
