Any accurate, first hand, recent knowledge of the fine (and particularly the number of demerits) issued for riding a m/cycle with engine larger than 660cc (and with no 'lams' exemption), assuming no other law is being broken at same time.-Thanks in advance for any accurate answers.
Cheers guys, im considering taking the risk now and then on an 80's shovelhead 1340cc harley-davidson it's all original condition and standard and is a bit under the 150kw/1000kg but i asked them and they told me they won't give an exemption (i think due to sheer engine capacity). It's a real bummer as i was gonna be able to get full licence in march 2013 if i did course but due to changes in october it's now gonna be june 2014:-(

BUy it and don't ride it. Last time I got done riding outside licence conditions it was 35 demerits and somewhere around $400 fine. almost a set of tyres for the bike!
Can you still get time of your licence by doing a defensive driving course!

Put a "500cc" sticker on the side of it.
