How does one remove the side skirt from this car.i dont want to damage it.are there just clips holding it or.

If your lucky it may be screwed on at its ends and some clips through the center.They are not held on by much. Hopefully not urathaned on.

Lift up the rubber seal that sits at the top if the sill cover and you'll see the screw fastened clips under it that run along the length at various intervals. You need to gently unscrew them so the clip doesn't spin, then when about half way out, pull on the screw and the entire screw and clip should slide out of the hole in the body.
Underneath should be similar, but will have steel screws.
Providing that they are genuine R8 factory fitted sill covers, that is.
