Can anyone point me the right direction to get a good or recond. gearbox for a Herald.Present box is non synchro,would prefer to get a full synchro out of a later model(Spitfire,Dolomite)Is there anyone in Auckland that does recondition these kindof gearboxes!Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Triumph Heralds are getting long in the tooth now. I can remember one of the last GP's at Ardmore when all the top overseas drivers [ including Sterling Moss ] had been given a Herald convertible for their time in NZ, and their parade lap around the circuit.
Sorry cant help with any info about the gearbox, but dont do a conversion,it wont be a Herald after that.
