06 VZ Commodore (Alloytec) "Powertrain Error"

Theres a few things that could cause the powertrain light to come on, you need to take it to Holden or an auto sparky to diagnose.

Its logged a trans or engine fault code, probably best to go to Holden and get it scanned to get an idea of whats gone wrong.

mostly this is a oxygen sensor fault

I had the same problem with my 06 VZ, they replaced O2 sensor, all good now

The oxy sensors are in a position that exposes them to stone damage etc, so a damaged one often brings the powertrain light on, however, there are a lot of other things that can also bring the light on so you should get it checked out asap nevertheless
