http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_6G7_engine#6G72 Both engines are closely related, so i'd say yes it would fit. Probably worst case scenario would be a bellhousing swap, but I've haven't worked on mitsi's much socan't say for sure.
