in a 95 telstar ,do i need to remove some dash to do this so I can upgrade the player !

If it's a standard DIN sized player, then sometimes you need a special tool, or to make one out of coathanger wire etc, to release the unit from clips holding it in.There might be plastic inserts each side of the player that need to be removed to access the slots. Remove them carefully so you don't break them. It's unlikely that you'll need to remove the dash.A standard DIN player should fit in the hole.You'll need to use google to find wiring details etc.

thanks for the reply will check to see if plastic covers some holes as currently no coathanger wire sized holes are visible

yes i have found 4 little holes under 2 plastic caps on the outer edge of the unit, placed 4 short pieces of wire in the said holes and removed , job done thanks
