The software you want is called evoscan. It's a NZ product and is right up there with the best in the world. leading even.

Yes, the test of the O2 sensor(or any other circuit), should be done right at the computer's plug. so you can eliminate wiring faults as well as the sensor or actuator.
The O2 sensor should be fluctuating around the 4.5 volt mark, and between about .1 and .9 of a volt. with the motor warmed up and idling.

Ooh I've come across it because it seems to be mainly for mitsubishi cars but because of the price wanted to see if there was something free.But it seems like it will work so I'll stop being a tight arse and get the wallet out haha.Thanks mechnificent, I'll get onto testing that this week and report back here.

Iused to own one, unless you already are, I found running it on 95/96 far more efficeint. .

Yep usually on 95, but also 98 lately but don't notice much difference.

Going to clean out my manifold tomorrow, what tools/cleaners do you guys recommend!
