after the 1st full day Paddon is 11th after losing time with a puncture . is now the leading Hyundai after team mates Hanninen rolled and is out, and Neuville lost 23 minutes with suspension damage .
HP up to 9th after the long stage, someone would need to drop out to improve on this.

after 12 stages Hayden sitting in 8th place overall . in the next stage a bad engine misfire forced him to stop in the stage and the team told him not to carry on .
a disappointing end to a promising first works drive . but that's motor racing .
Good to se a kiwi doing well in international competition , so hard for them to get sponsors to get started , our govt doesnt provide any help but can give millions $ to bunch of yachties to play once every 3 years .
What exposure would nz or the govt get out of a rally car on the other side of the world. Nothing. They didn't build it, don't sponsor it ,don't own it and don't service it. Only two kiwi's sitting in someone elses car made in Japan.

if the government had put even one million into Rally NZ we would probably still have the high profile WRC event here each 2nd year .

The wrc fees & costs have been increased to put on a wrc round so even the Aussies might find it difficult to keep their round.
Paddon moving up as the other drivers have problems in Poland. Paddon helping with the stage sweeping at the front.
