have had a client ask and well im just simply a mechanic and tyre shops have been mixed advice

Measure next to the current wheels & compare a few spec's
"back space" "offset" Total width extra Check clearance for struts & guard lip of rims AND tyres.
Back space is how deep the inside of the rim from the inside mounting face. Offset is the center of the entire rim offset to either side of the hub face.

Im picking no. Usually the mazdas run pretty narrow wheels with pretty high offsets.

Highly doubt it. Maybe if they roll the guards and stretch the tires.

Yep this, that vehicle runs (from memory) about 45-50mm offset.
