Has anyone pulled apart the radio or dash to access the rear wiring loom from the unit to be able to install additional speakers?
Being the tradie van they don't factory wire any wiring to the rear of the van so I assume that there are wires in behind the dash from the unit i'd like to get my paws on.

What trim did you remove to get to the rear of the radio?

Start at the join just above the ashtray, slot 2 thin screwdrivers in there and pry open. Work your way up and it will separate just above the gear lever. Look in there and you will see 3 Phillips screws. Remove them and pry the fascia off evenly all the way to the top. You will then see the screws that hold the stereo in place. Remove them and the bracket covering up the wiring diagram. On the rear of the stereo there will be 2 plugs and an aeriel wire. Remove the aerial and the plug with 2 rows of 4 medium gauge wires (as well as a few thin gauge wires) Those 2 rows of 4 are your front/rear + & - wires. If you remove the second plug (the one with the larger red wire) you will cut the power to the stereo and causing the security feature to occur and you will need to have the pin code on hand to reset it. If you still have questions, dont hesitate to ask. Cheers Stevo

Sweet. I'll have a look in the next couple of days.
It's a company van I drive and my 2nd home, done 60,000 kms in the last 12 months in it.
