Yep, if they are broken, have hardened up from age or in the case of hydraulic mounts the fluid has leaked out they can certainly cause vibration. If one has failed the others may have been under more stress since the failure.

Sometimes they need setting up too. Some have slotted bolt holes so the mount can be slightly pretensioned.

Found a Toyota with rock hard mountings, vibrated for sure, fitted a new set of mountings and it was all fixed.
