Seemingly about a year before the designer had properly finished doing the back of them I would say . The rear quarter view is SSanyong-ish , who that was sober would have actually signed it off ! ?

Assume you mean the Colorado 7 which is an SUV version of the Colorado ute by Isuzu. Brand new, only came out few months ago. It's a genuine off roader, tough but old fashioned SUV.

It has been around since late 2012 in Aussie and I know since mid 2013 in NZ, may be released at the same time as Aussie.

Been around since 2012, for the 2013 model year and has been revised twice since, mainly with equipment and tech changes. Got nothing to do with Daewoo and only has a few Isuzu derived parts, its a global GM product made in Thailand and a couple of other places with an Italian diesel engine and Eaton/GM drivetrain.
