Hi Guys, Apart from the obvious replacement with a new one, has anyone found a way to get a signal into the factory CD player found in your average 2009 Swift ? Seems a shame to lose the on wheel controls.

There will be a port on the back of the stock stereo that you can plug an aux adaptor into.

Just a side note, I have a aftermarket pioneer headunit which still uses steering wheel controls. So there are headunits out there with steering wheel control if it needs replacing.

Most quality stereos support steering wheel controls

Have actually just read about a device for this, intercepts into the aerial line. Called an iSimple isfm23 and retails for about 200. Uses Bluetooth thing to connect to your phone via an app.
install an FM modulator to the aerial, They are hard wired and give very good playback, This way you can keep your controls and use the radio tuned in to your FM modulator and play your songs. Get in touch with me if you want one
