Or does there have to be 1? Ive tryed to get my 1 in gauge cluster to light up but in the vehicles manual it says its a brake system warning light, not a park brake acivated light? will that effect getting a wof? Thanx

Not part of WOF check.

Its just a warning that your handbrake is still on,or not completely off.Brake system warning light means, low brake fluid/blown stop light bulb or maybe worn disc pads.Havent seen a car a without a Handbrake Warning Light for years!

ok basically if the light is on = faild wof . if its not on it is a pass. it wont be tested if it does com on or not , just if it is on= failed wof. the reverse light is a whole different one lol we had a thread about that one and why that is not part of the wof check.
