Why do you think you're personal opinion has to be shared by everyone? I just did a Google on Toyota Corolla automatics and guees what? Yes problems all over the web.
All cars have some failures.
I told op I thought that was too high a milage and there's plenty with less, and used mine as a warning. I also said that if I had just $2000 to spend (guess value of high miles one op is looking at) I'd not get an audi. I suggest you reread posts.
I didn't bring bmw in to equation someone else did. Read again.

Well franc that's your opinion and a lot of keen fans of these cars don't share it. That's the beauty of having choice. I'll respect your opinion but wish you'd respect mine.

I hate cats so here's another thing.
They're great to drive. Yes I've driven JAPANESE cars of same vintage and no I don't get anywhere near the sense of involvement and enjoyment from them. To me buying a corolla is like marrying an ugly boring dull women. She'll be reliable, won't run away with the ski instructor, work hard, but where's the fun!
The audi isn't a mad beauty who'll drive me mad and screw everything thing in site untill she bankrupts me in divorce court (that's would be an old Italian exotic) but it's still fun. Maybe the pretty girl from Europe with an interesting accent, some odd ways about her, mostly sane, but still hot.

Hell, you are getting so much more from your car than I am!
Should I trade in my BMW?

Its only your personal opinion that matters in your eyes.
Auto fill search term of automatic problems does not come
on google for the corolla but sure does for audi a3, I'll
enlighten you since you seem to know bugger all about
Search - it means loads are people are putting those
search terms into google.
Why should Franc respect your opinion when it is shite ?

To top it all off you own a triumph tiger, also one of the
biggest heaps of shite. You have the unfortunate knack
of choosing to buy crap.

Wow, you really are bitter! Or pissed off with the world.
Have a better read without your chip on, I'm saying it is ONLY my personal opinion and I respect others, and object when told that I am wrong to have my opinion. And auto fill problems did come up on google for me.

As for telling me my bike is a heap of shite. Well that's just silly, uninformed, and bloody rude. I won't bother argueing with you on that point as you seem to have a very fixed opinion and aren't interstested or respectful of others.

Try and enjoy you're day, and do get that chip fixed.

Maybe! Which model is it? A Frau with a stern expression and long skirt who bosses people around, or maybe a young blond backpacker model with a taste of the exotic, or 200 kilo Germanic powerhouse?
This metaphor could run for ever.

My 740i is a good looker starting to show her age a little but the get up and go coupled with a great ride always makes me forget that.
