Does anyone know if a 4l60e out of a v6 will fit a ls1?

I don't know about "fit" but the V8 used the same/similar transmission. I think it was a 4l60he, the h being heavy duty and able to handle the greater torque

ive got a 4l60e in my ls1 VY, but im trading the car in and want to hold onto the trans as its been fully rebuilt and has had very little use since the rebuild. Have been offered a 4l60e but its out of a v6. Im guessing at the very least the bell housings will be different but as for anything else im not to sure.
