Ok so not to everyones taste but Ive noticed the C300 models dont have the stand up star hood emblem on them and instead just a round badge. Anyone know if its possible to replace the badge with the stand up emblem or would I need a panel beater to do it? They only seem to sell these on ebay to fit a C280.

They have removed the stand-up emblems to stop dickheads from breaking them off. And for skittle safety.
I'm only guessing here, but would assume the flat emblems are mounted on a forward facing plane, whereas the stand-up would need to be mounted on a flatter plane. This might require some hole filling to eliminate the original. You really need to fire up the old eyecrometre. Or borrow one off someone who has a good one.

If it is a '94-'99ish W202 a stand up emblem will fit,used to be about $70 for 190Es and 300Es,try Startech Enterprises in Manukau.
