I couldn't agree with you more snoops mate, the automotive industry is very different to that of 35 years ago.
Have to say I can still remember being in the booster room at Appco in Diana Drive and having the famous Clarrie Booth (ex Contour Brakes Wellington) poke his head in to tell me he was sending a young kid called Craig over to see if I could teach him anything about overhauling boosters. He'd be in his late 40's now, what a hell of a waste.
