Could someone please advise the problem of losing power while driving up a hill in a diahatsu sirion 2008 hatchback car?

I know someone who had that issue in an Astra I think. Was very hard to diagnose even with computer, needed specialist machine for more accurate diagnostics. From memory it was something like some kind or sensor or obscure fault causing a problem. Wasn't an expensive part but a lot of man hours pinpointing it.

I have seen a hatchback towing a 3 tone boat didn't take long for the cops to turn up and take it off the road and the driver couldn't see what the problem was.

What was the problem? I prefer 2 tone myself but would happily have 3 tone for interior, not sure why the cops were playing fashion police!
You have to wonder about some people all right. I remember going into a hire centre many years ago to book a fairly sizeable furniture trailer, after being asked when I wanted it the very next thing I was asked was, What it being towed with? A Falcon ute, why? was the reply, followed by, OK that's fine, its just we get people showing up with Civics and Familias to pick them up.

Manual or automatic and do any warning lamps illuminate when it is doing it?

Try reversing up the hill. The lower gear ratio should keep you at a constant, albeit steady pace!
