Hey guys got pre-approved finance to purchase a vehicle but a little confused on how you go about 'purchasing the vehicle' I've found what I'm after (private sale) but I'm a little unsure on how it works. I don't want to hold the seller up all day there was mention of a deposit slip and scanning haha I'm going to ring for a break down tomorrow but if someone has made a private sale through AA could you just tell me how you did it and what I need to do as I'm travelling 3 hours to inspect and possibly buy the thing so I don't want to be un-organised and stuff the day for the seller, mucking around cheers !

I once bought a car with AA Finance on a private sale, was some time ago though. Anyway I had to get an AA prepurchase inspection otherwise they wouldn't do it. Was pretty straightforward with them transferring funds to the seller's account afterwards.

pre purchase inspection is required before you can go ahead with a private sale if financing through them
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
