I started unpicking a section of wiring loom from a vr commore v6 to replace a section on loom on a vp loom. Any body know why the two of the four wires from the cas plug splice back into the loom instead of just going to the dfi plug?

Cause they are the supply and earth for the cam angle sensor white/black grey/red then the brown wire from cam sensor returns to dfi

So they do go to dfi plug they just use a common supply and ground
