Anyone been on the rally drive experience in the Maramarua Forest? Kids and wife shouted it to me for my birthday, what a buzz. Got to do 4 laps in an Evo rally car around a roughly 5 to 6 km gravel road loop. First lap was pretty loose & scary as the road have been graded the day before with no traffic over it apart from rally transport truck and a few recon loops. Got considerably faster as mine and others laps were done, getting reasonably confident by my last lap but still plenty of pounding heart rate. After the customer drives were all done we were each individual passengers on a hot lap. Proved to me that I had left plenty of time on the table. if only I'd known. I guess that's why we get the hot lap after we had finished.

sounds great but appears it's ruined the 'spiritual' home of NZ rallying .
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
