Interesting discussion on the Road Code im involved in on facedork.
Is it all actually law, or is some of it just recommendations?

the rode code book etc is more of recommendation rather than actual law.

for eg some of the new laws they brought in (a few years back now) where in the book for 10+ years BEFORE they made it law.

sometimes some of the dodgy stuff you see on the road is actually legal even tho in the road code they make it sound like its illegal.
