I have found this place to be OK for European stuff. http://www.leadingedgeautomotive.co.nz/ And as a general garage, this place works for me. http://yellow.co.nz/y/parker-automotive

Had a bad run there a couple of years ago, a service was not done right. Cost them at least one new car sale.

Jeff Gray is fine if your happy to pay $160 an hour for an incompetent "Technician" to work on your car. Mine was fluent in misdiagnosis and the art bullshitting to customers on managements behalf. The worst service I've ever received from a workshop. I've heard also that Leading Edge Automotive are good but never been a customer of theirs myself.

Geoff Blackler Motors in Orbell St have always been good to deal with ( 10 years plus ) .

So the engine has been cooked with heat damage ? considering the last couple weeks with high air temps. and your looking for a patch up job. then I would suspect that you will get a disclaimer from the repair person relating to the prior coolant loss resulting in any engine damage done at that point and any as a consequence after any repairs done.

Climb under & have a look . could just be burst hose easy DIY . As said, if go to dealer then the white coats will confound you with technical bullshit to justify the exorbitant charges .
