strobo, Oct 6, 7:21pm

ema1, Oct 6, 7:30pm
We're waiting !

morrisman1, Oct 6, 7:31pm
should be about 20 bucks with some parts freighted over from Europe.

laurelanne, Oct 6, 7:44pm
My first thoughts are, think of a big number, then double it.

intrade, Oct 6, 7:47pm
here are the problems a 2.0 tdi is either 24 valve pumpedüse ot a common -rail. if its 1.9 zhen it can be a pumpedüse or a old electronic injector pump.
in any case a tdi is electonical. hmm i write german english for ze language .

intrade, Oct 6, 7:53pm
What exact engine code is it?
why do you think it needs a rebuild?

About $480 drive in drive out. Because VAG are the most efficient manufacturer in the world, Audi parts are dirt cheap and absolutely everywhere and the brilliant simplicity of design means this job can be done down the local fish and chip shop while you are waiting for another unhealthy treat to be prepared for you. They will take a complete and running 2014 Fiat product or some Toyota subsidiary transmission parts as part exchange if payment with cash is an issue.

Hopefully it's not as expensive as my Toyota diesel, they wanted $1200 for a Conrod and $1500 for a set of rings.
Nearly fell over when he told me what the head would cost.

cabrio1, Oct 6, 8:36pm
Injectors were $450 to recondition, asked about an exchange diesel pump, backed away real slowly.
Yip good old cheap toyota

What's wrong with your engine?

snoopy221, Oct 6, 8:38pm
RE#9. sheesh and hoots mon
Ma ring is worth more than that .
What ota engine?

tsjcf, Oct 6, 8:39pm
You Euro fan boys do have trouble staying on topic.

Op just grab another engine plenty of those things round with other problems.

Land cruiser 4.2.
Non turbo

snoopy221, Oct 6, 8:40pm
How many pieces is the TDI in and which pieces damaged other pieces?
I.E. Timing components destroying valves, cylnder head and pistons and munched turbo?

cabrio1, Oct 6, 8:41pm
I recon diesels would be hard to source, reliable ones even harder

snoopy221, Oct 6, 8:41pm
YOU got FITTED.
And ringed,,,What parts supplier?
Beyond any doubt it wasn't Toyota that priced the injector reco

1HZ/? or earlier cruiser?

cabrio1, Oct 6, 8:45pm
Toyota main dealer Takanini for the rings conrod and head price,
My mates sister is parts manager down south and got the conrod for 350, rings for 400 in the end.

cabrio1, Oct 6, 8:54pm
Yeah the head cracked and it hydrolic, bent the conrod.
Was shocked at $1200 for the conrod, then knew he was taking the piss at $1500 for ring set so phoned a friend

rbd, Oct 6, 9:40pm
Well a friend just spent $14300 on an Audi S4 V8 engine after it jumped a tooth on the cam chain (common Audi issue apparently). So for a four cylinder I'd guess $7150.

intrade, Oct 6, 9:50pm
tell your friend the only common thing in nz is the idiots who pretend they can service vehicles. like toyota morons who tell clients brake fluid full of water is ok nothing to worry about.

snoopy221, Oct 6, 10:23pm
awww that's nice lol LMAO
