I broke my son's headphones wire - in the headpiece join. Can that be re joined? Is there someone up here who can do that? Thanks.

Should be a simple fix if you can get into the headpiece? Youtube and a soldering iron will be all you need once you open her up.

Did you break it by stretching it? If so, could be a problem.
Just where is it broken?.
Can you post a picture?
While any cable theoretically should be repairable, it may not be an elegant or pretty thing afterward.
There are people around who can effect repairs - do you get to the Shore on occasions?
If you want to try a professional repair shop, look for Axent Audio.

How easy depends on a few things.
Is it a std copper core cable
Is it a cloth/copper combo
Access & exact location of the break.

The cloth/copper combo can't be soldered & must be clamped.
Any soldering is a delicate job.
Might be worth raiding another set for the cable depending on what length the current cable is & location of the break etc.

I can do it.

Would you like to do it?

Can you show me pictures so I can get a better idea and then can advise accordingly ? (I used to work for a headphone design/manufacture company)
