I broke my son's headphones wire - in the headpiece join. Can that be re joined? Is there someone up here who can do that? Thanks.

Should be a simple fix if you can get into the headpiece? Youtube and a soldering iron will be all you need once you open her up.

Did you break it by stretching it? If so, could be a problem. Just where is it broken?. Can you post a picture? While any cable theoretically should be repairable, it may not be an elegant or pretty thing afterward. There are people around who can effect repairs - do you get to the Shore on occasions? If you want to try a professional repair shop, look for Axent Audio.

How easy depends on a few things. Is it a std copper core cable Is it a cloth/copper combo Access & exact location of the break.
The cloth/copper combo can't be soldered & must be clamped. Any soldering is a delicate job. Might be worth raiding another set for the cable depending on what length the current cable is & location of the break etc.
