advice on getting a work licence please
Have lost licence for 6 months,28 days stand down. I work as a driver for a contracting company so need to get work licence
where do I start?

contact a lawyer that specialises in work licences, they advertise fairly widely. be aware that just because you feel you "need " a work licence doesn't mean you will get one

I had excellent service from 0800 4 LICENCE.

Also have a look at this:

was for loosing traction. got caught doing donuts

And you did'nt think of your job when you were doing this?.
How do you treat your employer's equipment?

Any moderately powerful vehicle can easily spin its wheels, esp in the wet. Forget you're not in a Nana car and take off too quickly from the lights and you could get done.

bashfulbro, Aug 5, 12:06pm
Maybe, but unlikely, but doing donuts, is for dickheads.

be a man, you did the crime. do the time

elect70, Aug 5, 2:53pm
They are getting harder to get today .Employer needs to do an affidavit that your licence is essential for you have for his business to operate & it will be for fixed hours . .Expensive

Good job I hope they do not give you a work license. People need to remember a license is a privilege not a right.

Wow so much hate, he was honest and all you saints are roasting him for it.

I couldn't agree with you more mate.

The abundance of 'holier than thou' comments from sanctimonious posters who should really be in parenting or taking part in a SJW think-tanks leaves me wondering if this is a motoring MB!

Edited to say that despite having just turned 61 I'll have to do a few deliberate, sustained loss of traction's around my neighborhood tomorrow just to keep my blood pressure down!

darryl, Aug 5, 8:37pm
Was it worth it? LoL

Take thee, (and your Corolla) back to the parenting MB and never let your shadow darken these shores again!

If you ever grow a set of 'nads (get your dad [if your Mom remembers his name] to explain), you're more than welcome back to sling 'real jokers' innuendos on this MB.

thank you to the useful comments
