remember well my son 16 years old,being allowed to drive my brothers mint 1972 xa falcon gt manual. As we headed down the highway he said gee it runs nice at 100kph,my brother sitting in back seat quietly pointed out no that is 100 mph. wow what a reaction with the gas pedal.

I remember the first of those old Izuzus. Compared to the cars of the day they were a breakthrough. They came standard with a fuel filter ! . and were so reliable. and go. man. Nothing comparable could keep up or drive as nicely.

We were all amazed to see a car with a decent fuel filter as standard. and a twin barrel carby that worked and didn't give problems.
