Total novice here, looking at buying a campervan/motorhome for family holidays, but need to have 5 threepoint seat belts. Is there such a thing?! Everything I see only has 2-3 seats

My 6 berth has 4 x 3 point seatbelts installed on the dining area seats as well as the 2 on the cab seats. The dining area seats are all substantial steel framed and bolted down through the floor to the chassis.

I was told that they used truck seats so the safety belts actually attached to the seat, which makes it easier to certify.

Yes, it will have seats in back and some do have certified belts. Some come made like that, some renal company’s do have them, but they van also be fitted and certified after.

Also another rule, if it was first converted and registered as a motorhome before Oct 2003 it doesn't require seatbelts at all.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
