have just put a slim sub/amp in sons ute ,it has a remote volume type switch and when i turn it up all it does is droons. is someting wrong with it or how do you set it up!

what sub and what amp are you using! how did you setup the wiring! how did you 'tune' the amp! also how did you run the wiring!

its a fusion slim amp and sub built as one unit.sony xplode head unit.earthed to chassie from amp,fused power from battery.remote wire for power.
