When I indicate the headlights get dimmer and brighter, corresponding to the indicator flashes, and when its on turbo timer and i lock it, the engine almost dies when the indicators flash. What causes these very minor but intriguing symptoms! 1996 Subaru GT-B

What's the status of the battery! Fully charged/13.4V+!

Check you battery terminals first, make sure they are clean (and not just on the outside) and tight.

Presumably no dash warning light! (working okay!) If battery checks out okay as well then put a volt meter across the out put of the alternator while the car is idling. You generally should get at least 10v. Less than 10v out put is a bad, bad alternator.
