Hi, sons VN needs the alternator replacing. Never done one on a car with a single belt , is this as easy as doing one with a seperate belt or is there some things I need to be aware of. Worried about timing etc. cheers

Draw a picture of the route the belt goes around the pulleys. Replace the belt and the tensioner for the belt if they look original. Nothing is timed so don't worry about that.
