Just a head unit!

Pretty easy to DIY with the right adaptor plugs.

What type of car! Make/model/year!
What brand head unit!

jasongroves, Jan 27, 5:53am
Soooo.what sort of car and head unit!
If it already has an after market one and you are going to use the same brand for the new one, you should just be able to pull the old one out and plug the new one in.

What would cause the old one to break! Probably wouldn't recommend same loom unless it's checked.

jasongroves, Jan 27, 6:04am
Who knows!
Blown fuse!
Stuffed lens!
Blown amp!
Could be any number of things (the OP hasn't been very clear, lol).
But yeah, a few simple checks with a multi-meter wouldn't hurt.

jono2912, Jan 27, 6:07am
Yeah. We're jumping to conclusions anyway, we don't even know what's in the car.

If you want, me or someone on here can walk you through it!
Or use the above link.
If the original loom plug is still there, just buy adaptors to suit.
Then all you need to do is run the antenna wire and some RCA cables to the amp and that's the head unit sorted.

jono2912, Jan 27, 7:06am
Oh good, thanks.
